3 Lazy Dogs

Whenever I sit in the La Z Boy Rocky will get up and lay between my legs. Petra usually sits on the blanket in the next La Z Boy but will get jealous and crawl over onto my lap. She also likes to stick her front legs up against Rocky's back and push. Mom just had to go get the camera.

Those dogs aren't lazy - they are carefully conserving their energy so they can spring into action immediately and protect your life should a dangerous 2 or 4 legged varmint enter your home.

And you shouldn't call them the disparaging and old fashioned term "dogs". They are "Canine Americans".

Our new pup has found great sport in trying to ride 14 year old Barney. He's good natured but when he's had enough she knows it. He was tore up when Squirt passed and stayed under the bed for a month but he's bonded with Spiffy a little and he's doing fine. These pictures were a couple days ago.

Petra is a whippet, and average size for a female, IIRC she is 28lb. Rocky is a parti-color cocker and weighs 20lb. We had a male whippet who passed away a few months before we got Petra. He was pretty good sized and weighted 36lb.
