3 most booring movies.

Howard The Duck- Agree with Cajun-in a class of its own!!

Ishtar
Heavens Gate
Water World/The Postman (tie)

And three movies that ARE good which put me to sleep every time:
The Godfather
2001: A Space Odyssey
Once Upon A Time In the West

Guess I should get a clarification on whether you are looking for movies that I consider to be a "boor" or a "bore" first.

ANYTHING......Oliver Stone makes! The worst movie ever made was "Natural Born Killers"!! Half way thru people walked out! Me....I kept hoping it would get better....it didn't!

Usually I leave spelling stuff alone, not wanting to be on anyone's hit list, but in this case, I gots ta know:

Is boring misspelled in the tile of this thread?

Or is it a clever play on seeing boring movies, and booing at them?

Am I a boor for asking? Or, maybe a bore?

Worst movie - Mouse Hunt.

This one for CAJUNLAWYER

My wife asked me to drop her off at the theater in Baton Rouge to see Big Fat Greek Wedding. Being bored, I decided to stay and watch with her.

When I wasn't sleeping, I was writing the dialog before they said it. I didn't laugh at any of the jokes. Such a boring movie I could cry.

I lost all those good husband points I got for not abandoning her in a strange city.

Hi:
The Drive-In movies I watched as a "Young Adult". These movies had a beginning but not a middle or ending (that I saw)

For some reason the one that sticks in my mind after all these years is "Three Nuts in Search of a Bolt". Saw it at Joplin Mo (in 1968?) with my first wife. Starred Mamie Van Doren, and yes it was boring.

This thread just goes to show how different people's tastes are. Quite a few of the films named are among my favorites. GWTW,Zhivago,Godfather,Once Upon a Time, and others. Some peoples' taste is all in their mouth. :p

I was going to comment on that, but decided that the OP is trying to draw out the pronunciation of "boring."

But Hollywood is full of boors, many of them movie stars.

Drive was a boring, pathetic excuse for a movie! Not to be confused with Driven which was equally worthless.
The Happening- I was astonished with how dumb this movie was, it can seriously give Michael Moore movies a run for the money.
I think movies are seemingly becoming more boring because every movie that comes out is the same cr*p done over 5 times already. It is very rare for an original idea to come out of Hollywood now days.

Worst movie I've ever seen, Coriolanus, Shakespeare's Hamlet verbatim set in modern warfare times.

I'm not properly responding to the "boring movie" post, but speaking of movies, I caught Cat Balou on TCM last week. What a hoot !!

I probably haven't seen one that would be REALLY boring because I try to avoid those. Sometimes, however, I make a mistake in selecting a movie.
Some past disappointment and movies I've found boring were:
. Inception
. Bronco Billy
. Time Machine (new version)
. The Haunting
. Invasion of the Body Snatchers (new version)
. The Thing (newest {the third} version

1) The Road- By the end, I wanted one of those bullets for me.
2) Howard's End- I would have liked it better if it was a gay porn movie but it was a story about a house in England. I could have used the other bullet from "The Road" watching this one.
3) Good Burger- Are you kidding me, a story about a hamburger stand? Too bad "The Road" only had 2 cartridges for the Model 10. Joe

I have to post in this thread, because I saw not once but twice, the movie "Ishtar" listed here.

That has long been the worst movie experience of my life. It was worse than having broken ribs. Let me tell you about broken ribs; they hurt every time you breathe. Try not breathing. It's quite difficult, for any length of time.

A close second was "Desparado" with Antonio Bandaras and Don Johnson's ex-wife. I once cracked an egg into my iron skillet that came out black and assailed my nostrils to the point that I vomited - into the skillet, and down the front of the stove. That experience was better than watching "Desparado" .

I am a horror movie fan and I cannot stand:

-Last House on the Left
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

And for a third pic, a comic book movie I thought was worthless.

-The Watchmen

Last House on the Left
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Originals, or remakes?
