3 most booring movies.

I'll get in trouble for a couple of these.

1) The Godfather. I fell asleep.

2) Waterworld. I was unlucky enough to not be albe to all asleep during this turkey.

3) The Swinging Stewardesses. This was the first "dirty movie" I ever saw. Man, back in the late 60's this thing had preachers up in arms. The local newspaper wrote an editoral condemning the theater that was showing it. Being 17 or 18, I forget which, I HAD to see it.

I sat through the whole movie thinking..."It has to get dirty soon...It has to get dirty soon...it has to get dirty soon." Then the lights came on and IT WAS OVER!!

Not necessarily boring, just terrible:

1) Mr. Holland's Opus
2) Jerry Maguire
3) Pretty much every single PG-13 rated "horror" movie ever made.

With the exception of Silverado, anything Kevin Costner made.....

I like "Mr. Brooks" (which for us old farts is not a re-make of "Our Miss Brooks.")

Watched on with my wife a few months ago. and another with friends a few years ago so here they are.

1. Nell with Jodie Foster
2. Ramen Girl

Boring was not the word for either of these two.

Any of the old John Holmes movies...Same plot over and over. Always lacked any intelligent dialog. After two minutes you know what the rest of the movie was going to be.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ......

1. Ishtar (my wife and I left the theater pretty early into it, as I recall)
2. Robin Hood, Men in Tights (only could watch for about the first 10 minutes)
3. Sex in the City (double dated with another couple -- the other guy and I were embarrassed to be seen in line. I got lots of things my way after sitting thru that one!)

Clerks - wasn't funny. Stopped watching after the first 10 mins.
Anything Dana Carvey
Lost in America - about a couple losing money in Vegas.

1. Men Who Stare At Goats- worst movie I've ever seen
2. Godfather III- I threw the disc out of my Godfather collection. Have no idea how that could be the conclusion of two of the best films ever made.
3. Alexander- one if the most disappointing movies

"Harlem Nights". I'm 2 for 2.
Went to movie twice = fall asleep twice.
Not even copious amounts of butter-soaked, salt-encrusted popcorn, a gallon of caffeine-enriched soda and repeated rib jabs from my bride could keep me awake.

Gone with the Wind
Titanic
Bridges of Madison County
Collateral Damage (with Arnold. stupid all around)

The Bridges of Madison County....believe me that counts as three.

Hey. This was a touching love story...about a farmer's wife who shacks up with a guy who looked just like Clint Eastwood in her own house while her husband takes the kids and prize pig or whatever to the county fair. I really felt sad for them when poor Clint had tears in his eyes when he had to leave.
Yes, that was eight hours wasted in my life, too. Well, it might not have been eight hours but it sure seemed like it.
Oh. My three most boring movies:
Just pick any three Julia Roberts movies.

Forced myself to watch Heavens Gate a few nites ago. Kept waiting for it to get better. It never did.

Don't know how long the movie is, but it took me 4.5 hours to get through it; kept falling asleep.

The Savage is Loose .. with George C. Scott in his "I am God" phase of life
Elvira Madigan .. 50 people actually died of boredom, 7 were resuscitated still in therapy
The Enemy in Her Pants .. US Army VD extravaganza

If you find GWTW boring, you're probably a Yankee. It wasn't one of the top 100 movies, it was one of the top movies of all time. I like Citizen Kane, too. The only problem I had with them, is their length. I remember seeing "The Victors", and man, was it lame. I thought it was a war movie, was I disappointed. Almost anything with Liz and Richard, I can skip. Any movie that you need to see again, to get it, is a failure. To change the subject, I watched "Casablanca" on TMC the other night, and it must be the greatest movie ever. I've never even seen a close second.

I am a horror movie fan and I cannot stand:

-Last House on the Left
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

And for a third pic, a comic book movie I thought was worthless.

-The Watchmen

The original Last House was much better.

Anything with Tom Cruise in it (?)-at least I can't think of anything worth watching off the top of my head.
