Wow. That is a bit extreme. My sinuses would be screaming.

Going to be near 80°F for a couple of days here. With the low humidity it feels great. Trouble is the tree pollen has kicked up, big time. Normal mid 60s are promised for next week.

-27 to 50 in one week. Made it to the outdoor range before it turned into a slushy

Went from -9 last week to 56 degrees today where I live. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, I was outside in just a shirt.

18 below last week...49 above today. 22 inches of snow to almost none anywhere is amazing. But yesterday before the melt....we had a robin sitting on a target stand behind the house that the birds use for a perch...next to the(MT) birdfeeder...it was 16 above at the time...think he was pushing it a bit

In OKC today it was 76 degrees and I was driving home from work and went by Lake Hefner and saw lots of people in shorts, T-shirts, and tank tops. They were walking dogs, riding bikes, and running and there were big piles of snow and ice on the banks of the lake, and I don't ever remember a sight like that here.

Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it.

Last Tuesday it was -18 when I left for work. The high Thursday of last week was 5 above. It's 71 degrees right now. In Kansas, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute.

I grew up in Kansas, just to the south of the Flint Hills. I remember one February it got into the high 70s. I went out and spent the day doing a brake job on my car. Beautiful sunny weather. That night a blizzard rolled in and we got a foot of snow.
We were taught in school that the extreme weather changes in Kansas made you strong and healthy. I guess the theory was that if the weather did not kill you, you were tough.
