Actually, there is no "Official" .30-'01 cartridge as it was never adopted or manufactured in quantity for issue as it was purely developmental. However essentially the same '01 case was later adopted as the .30-'03. There was also an even earlier .30-'00 cartridge (also purely experimental) which had a rimmed case of about 0.2" greater length than the .30-'03 case.
