30 Million in Cash stolen in L.A. area

There's actually a history of thefts where the BGs went in through the roof. One would have thought that somewhere along the line someone would start installing alarm systems to cope with the issue. I'm aware of a theft where the crew had a couple guys actually doing roofing repairs during the heist.

I'd also bet on an inside person-not necessarily at the bank. Depending upon the age of the vault, weak points/design features of the brand may be known in some circles.

I had to do a gas meter change out at a social security office. Those roof sensors, cages and interior deterrents were in place at an office where there is a 20 minute wait to see a representative with no appointment. I had to threaten to leave the heat off, verify with the building owner who I was and bring a letter from the utilities legal department that said basically " this is what we do as a business and this is needed maintenance.

If there is a deterrent system there is also a way around it.

Nice to know that the Federal government is at least trying to protect our personal data.
