31-1 Value?

My apology because I know these posts can be annoying, especially without pictures or a serial number.

But a good friend just called and alerted me to a Model 31-1 in .32 S&W Long for sale in a local pawnshop.

It's supposed to be in excellent condition with original box and papers.

Would I be safe at $400-$450 OTD if I eventually wanted to resell it?

I think $450.00 would be top dollar for one around here, but I have seen some nasty guns priced that high as well. I own two, they are a pleasure to shoot.

I have a 31-2 snubbie, too.

A 30-1 too.

Yes. Not too long ago I bought a 4", gun only, in 99% cond. for $400 even. Within the last 6 months I bought a similar cond. 3" with period correct box, though not serial #'d to the gun but with the docs., for $425. Both RB.
