I took my newly aquired .32 break top DA revolver to get cleaned and they returned it and now the single action does not work. They were unable to fix it... I can cock the hammer, but when I squeeze on the trigger the hammer doesnt fall, but rides downward with the trigger. Also when the gun is on half-cock, as thumb pressure is applied behind the hammer it falls. The double action seems to work ok. Anyone can recommend a good gunsmith that I can send this gun to?

The sear or the sear notch on the hammer is worn. I have a S&W that does the same thing. I've heard you can stone the sear notch in the hammer so it will hold. I tried this on mine and failed. I probably got the angle wrong.
Chicoine may not be too expensive on this. It's worth sending him an e-mail. He could give you a quote
