I just bought this for $200. It’s a .32 Hand Ejector Second Model (Model of 1903 - 1st Change)
It appears to be replated and does not have original grips.
The barrel is 3 1/4 inch and is stamped .32 Long Ctg.
Serial number shows probably 1906 production.
Should there be any problems with modern .32 long ammo?

I’ve been looking for something like that to go with my 1920 M&P 38. That would be a perfect match.

Here is your "almost" twin. Serial 50606, 4 1/4" barrel, shipped October, 1906. Picked it up 6 years ago for $215. Shoots .32 S&W Longs just fine.

If this is your first .32 S&W Long revolver, it won't be your last. Enjoy your "new" revolver.

Congratulations!...And you got that one a lot cheaper than I got either my first year of production 1903, or my 1903 2nd change...:o...Ben

I like the stocks on your blued 1903 a lot. The cartridge base is very cool. 👍😎

I come home and the wife says, “You got a little box in the mail.”
Oh good my grips.
She sees the .32 and decides it fits her hand and so it’s now her gun.
:eek::(:(:(

The new grips fit perfect though.

I am glad your wife appreciates the finer things in life.

I would suggest you also look for a grip adapter. It makes a huge difference in how the revolvers handles.

Also, where did you find those grips?

Kevin

I got the grips from an eBay retailer I’ve used before for Smith & Wesson grips. They fit pretty good. My wife’s hand is small show she likes the fit. I’ll stick to my N and K frames.
