Sorry to bug everyone, but have not been able to locate a hand for my revolver anywhere in last many weeks, (including no responses from any place I could find on the internet.:(
Does anyone know if a hand from another model (i.e. model 36) may be fit to my I frame?

Many thanks for any help.

I don't think a modern hand will do it for you. In terms of I-frames, remember that the .22/32 target and kit guns, as well as the .32 and .38 Regulation Police models, shared essentially the same lockwork as the .32 Hand Ejector third model. A hand for one of those might be either a drop-in repair, or a simple fit to restore your .32 to operating condition.

If I am out to lunch on this, I hope someone who knows better will speak up to correct me and inform you.

EDITED TO ADD: Remember to pick up a hand spring if you need one of those. I can't recall if you are replacing a lost hand or a damaged one.

Many thanks.

The mention of reg police brings up another mild issue in that this particular revolver has the square butt and the long grips inletted for the square butt which I thought would make it a Reg Police model. I lost the Jinks letter from 30 years ago that described the gun, but I am wondering if it might be a "Reg Police 32 HE" and if so, perhaps I have not been searching widely enough for the proper hand under "Reg Police" as well as under "Hand Ejector" even tho they may be the same item for both models.

You are correct in that both the hand and hand spring were misplaced.

I have been away from guns too long:)

Thank you again.
