Since I'm not well educated in the matter of what's
a good round, I use the Fiocchi for range work, and never
had any problems.
No problems either in shooting or in cleaning.

In this day and age, a good round is anything you can find and buy. 32s have long been the red headed step child of the ammo industry. There is a low volume hum demanding some of it. Not very much so the prices seem to have climbed over the last few years to make it profitable. For that matter the other 32s aren't particularly beauty queens. Try 32 ACP or 32-20s. The latter they may not make one run every couple of years. It goes from non-existent to barely in stock.

The general ammo shortage will have side effects over the next few years, too. We would expect the ammo makers to concentrate on the high volume high demand rounds. Then we wouldn't expect them to take the time to break down and run something else until they've pretty much filled the distribution channels back up. The last thing they'll be running are the slow movers.

But the slow movers might be the thing for shooters to move to if they can find ammo on the shelves anyplace. The guns are out and about.

So good ammo is anything you can find and buy. Its center fire ammo so I would doubt you'd see the reliability problems we've seen with rimfire ammo over the last couple of years. There are no new innovations coming along like high velocity or such. Its a pretty well settled formula of very modest velocity and the same old lead bullet shapes. About all that can vary are the powder and how clean it burns.

I was asking about Fiocchi. Thanks guys. I don't recall hearing anything bad about Fiocchi - ever.

I like Fiocchi. I bought a box of 98 gr. lead roundnosed Fiocchi years agio for use in my Colt Police Positive.
Went BANG all 50 times. At 25 yards, from a benchrest, I got groups around 5 inches. This is not an indictment of the ammo, but the old Colt (made early in the 20th Century) has a narrow groove in the topstrap and an even narrower front sight.
My 50+ years eyes can't handle such meager sights. I'm sure that the ammo is more accurate than what I got from it.
I shoot Fiocchi .38 Special 158 gr. full metal jacket in my Model 15 on occasion. It's good stuff. Accufrate, and a little more powerful than the other brands.
Fiocchi ammo seems to be loaded to a slighly higher pressure level, which is typical of European ammo -- though American-marketed Fiocchi ammunition is made in Springfield, Mo.
Guess I forgot to mention that Fiocchi began in Italy in 1924, and still makes ammo there for distribution around the world.
So, for nearly 90 years Fiocchi has been making ammunition. I've never had any problems with it in .38 Special, .32 S&W Long, 9mm or .45 ACP.
If you can get it at a good deal, buy it. I like Fiocchi.

I bought several different .32 Long Fiocchi loads a while back. The wadcutters were very accurate out of a 16-4. I haven't tried the Lungos yet.

Fiocchi works quite well (It is loaded in Nevada.) Sellier & Bellot loads a good .32 Long round.
