I found this cute little .32 in a pawn shop a couple weeks ago. It was missing the pivot pin and screw. Also has a chip out of the left grip but for $150 OTD I decided to give it a home. A pivot pin and screw cost me about $15 from Numerich. After a good rubdown with Mother's and then Renwax I'm happy with it. I think it looks pretty good for a 130 year old gun. According to SCSW these were made from 1888 to 1902. I'm guessing this one is 1891-92. All matching numbers. The number scratched in the right grip is barely visible. I had a guy on the Colt forum repair a Colt Bisley grip for me several years ago and the repair is practically invisible. I'm going to contact him about repairing this one.

Very nice. Another source for grip repair is Don Furr. If you need another source, I'll look up his info.

Mike & 22lrfan,

Did a little looking around & came up with the Last Email Address I had for Don ([email protected])!! Hopefully it's still current as I haven't been in contact with him for quite a while...Worth a try anyway...He does excellent work!!

Do a search here. That grip is easily repaired using 5 min epoxy with a drop or two of black paint to match the grip color.
