i found a S&W the only marks or 32 s&w on the side of the barrel it has smith & wesson and patten dates on the top of barrel on the flat 1890 is the newest date 3in barrel it was nickel 90%gone and the side plate is gone and the rubber grip on that side is broken the gun works for i think it is a 2nd model 32 top brake can i find a side plate and what would it be worth i hate to see it in that shape all alone in a box with some old h&r 32 s

i found it in the book it is a 4th rounded trigger guard

Sounds like either a project that you will never recover the cost of putting it back together or a parts gun. (The internal parts should be worth something to someone.)
The sideplate is a fitted part and not directly interchangable. (unless your lucky.)
