I've done some searching and I see that people are shooting .45 Supers in their 325PD and 325NG's, but haven't come across anything specifically about anybody using them in the Thunder Ranch model. I presume the TR is strong enough to handle them, but I just wanted to see what y'all had to say about it first?

Thanks in advance!

And to ward off the peanut gallery, I'm a recoil junky so I'm not concerned about that.

If I was a betting man, which I'm not, I'd say all the 325/625 cylinders are the same. I compared the bolt notch thickness on my 325 vs my 625 cylinder and they're the same, .026" (.065" outer cylinder wall - .039" notch depth).

The cylinder on the Thunder Ranch is stainless steel. The 325 PD is titainium. I'd say that gives the edge to the Thunder Ranch. Anything that is safe in the 325 PD should be safe in the 325 Thunder Ranch. I'm sure S&W would tell you to only use 45 ACP or 45 Auto Rim just like they say only factory ammo.
