What is the overall length for a loaded .327 Federal cartridge? I have a Uberti Model P Jr single action that is chambered in .32 H&R Magnum/.32-20 and was thinking of having the .32 H&R cylinder rechambered.

American Eagle 100 gr is 1.472, best measurement I can get of the loaded unfired brass is 1.295

Federal 85 gr Hydra-shok is 1.440

Speer 115gr GDHP is 1.462

TOTALLY agree!!!!!!!!!
The peak pressure on the .327 is rated at 45000psi which is more than a .357 mag!"

Good question.

Once I check to see if it will fit, I'll talk to a few 'smiths that do conversions/rechamberings.

I read articles that Skeeter Skelton wrote, about using some heavy reloads in the Ruger Single Six sized .32 Magnum revolvers. The Uberti is slightly bigger, but we all know how tough Ruger single actions are.
