The seldom seen Uberti SAA .32-20/.327 Magnum convertible

I think it's a cool gun cartridge combo. I'm pretty sure Skeeter Skelton used to write about a Colt SAA he had loved in 32-20 back in the day, and had sold off on a regretful whim. He said it was one of his favorites, as I recall, and was still looking for it when he penned the article, and provided the SN to any who might have it and be willing to sell it back. I've often thought of doing something similar the advantages of the 327 make it even more interesting now. Thanks.

I had an original 1908 S&W DA 32-20, which started me down the whole .32 H&R/ .327 Federal rabbit hole to begin with. It is such a great revolver in its own right. So, I bought the 5.5" .32 H&R Uberti SAA P-Jr dual cylinder 32-20/.32 H&R 2 years ago. I recently gifted the S&W DA to my son, and my older brother has made us both some hand loaded 32-20 rounds with coated 115gr bullets. I have shot them, as well as HSM 115gr 32-20, and Black Hills .32 H&R. What I was hoping to achieve was 32-20 performance in a straight-wall casing that is easier to hand load like the .32 H&R. I considered just extending the headspace of the P-Jr .32 H&R Magnum chambers. Two things made me reluctant to try that though. One is the fluted cylinder, and two is the substantially higher pressure of the .327 as opposed to the .32 H&R or the 32-20, even. Both of those rounds do shoot extremely well and have fantastic range and accuracy. So I really don't want to ruin a fantastic SAA revolver in pursuit of just having a .327 cylinder.
I also really dislike the appearance of the current Ruger and Taurus .327 offerings.
I considered finding a discontinued Ruger Single-Seven .327, but I have seen several videos of them having loading and ejection clearance issues, on top of being really pricey!

The P-Jr 5.5" was just shy of $600.00 2 years ago, and I can only currently find the 4.75" available today.
I may be resigned to just doing without a .327 Federal Magnum unless a SAA cylinder magically appears one day, lol!
