34 no dash ?

Hello
I just picked up a model 34 no dash ser # 53557 no letters.
It is a 4" flat latch with diamond grips
I am guessing it was make between 1957 and 1960. Is that correct?
What year did they go away from the flat latch and diamond grips?
It's not perfect but pretty nice and it seems to be a great shooter.
I'll try to post picture later. I have done it before but I'm having a brain block and can't find it in my computer.

The serial number puts it as shipped in 1959. The flat latch supposedly went away in 1966 and diamond stocks in 1967, but there are no absolute dates for the changeover.

I thought this was late for flat latch and diamond grips but it all looks original and the right grip is numbered to the gun.
