.35 Rem availability

At $40 a box you can buy all you want. It may not be on LGS shelves but still good bit at shows. I’ve got several boxes of factory in many classic deer cartridges. Unless ultra rare the shipping kills any reasonable deals.
My guns never ate fast food for long. If it was a keeper it was loaded for.
I had several deer rifles and after you get over the novelty of new cartridge or new gun, it’s not shot that much. I did go through phase loading 357 bullets in 35 for varmits. Not a bad combination for walking up on groundhogs at 100yds. Meanwhile a rack of varmit guns are gathering dust.

I'm quoting myself. :D I completely forgot I have a nice Remington 141 in .35 Rem made in 1941 and I also picked up a Remington 760 in .35 Rem. Its the BDL deluxe, they only made it in .35 Rem in 1980. I picked it up for the rarity and the caliber. Looks nearly new- I haven't shot it. :(

This thread, albeit about ammo, has my brain thinking about what's buried in the safes. ;):D

This thread is exactly why I stocked up on ammo in every caliber that I have a firearm. Collector or shooter, I have ammo for them. I also bought reloading supplies for the less popular stuff. A friend once told me that the constitution may protect our firearms, but it says nothing about ammo. I guess I'm one of those hoarders I see posts about.

Those Damn homesteaders got you so worked up you forgot how many rifles you own. Lol

Go on google maps...search gun shops in your area....call them all to see if they have any....chances are that some small rural shop may have a couple boxes .....i have had success with 38 s&w doing this.
