I did a search and didn't find anything on this...just noticed that Winchester came out with PDX1 ammo in .357 Magnum, 125 grain with anticipated velocity around 1325 fps (I assume 4" barrel). Anybody tried it? I have used the .38 +P quite a bit and like it...thoughts? Anybody shot any? It apparently has been out for a few months, but I just saw it for sale. Thanks in advance, B

I think the whole PDX1 line is pretty good, and I doubt they would have screwed up 357 Magnum. PDX1 is in most of my carry guns.

I'm also interested in the .357 round. I carry the PDX1 .38+P in my model 13 and would like step up to the .357 if they aren't too hot. I don't want to risk cracking the forcing cone on my primary carry gun.

I picked up a box for my 640-1, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I've looked on the web, but I have yet to find any gel or chrono results on it.

You can be assured this is a hot load. Try the Remington Golden Saber 357 load for your 13, or a 158gr load, or just stick with 38 +P.
