so I walked into the local pawn shop today and they had just put out a really nice 36 no dash that had been on pawn. it sports the three inch barrel and really nice dark colored grips. I didn't have a three inch anything and it was an impulse buy. they had 350 on it and I got it for 330 out the door. also came with a nice duty holster. So I was wondering, good impulse buy or not?

You never know what you will find in a pawn shop.....every once in a while you can find a good deal. Let's see some pictures of the new acquisition please.

any handgun under 350 that fires and is a smith is a sweet buy with the reputation that s&w has is sweet i love a gun with acessories that way u spend less. somebodys loss ur gain.I stay away from pawn shops because they are buiseness's that take advandtage of people but someones loss is your gain

$330...

You did real good. Post some pictures if you can and with the duty holster...that one sounds interesting. Enjoy it.

Yeah, that's quite a find.

A LGS had a 70% cond square butt on the shelf for weeks at $395 plus tax.

They wouldn't budge and I wasn't paying more than $300. Don't know what it sold for but they found a "buyer."

I'll see what I can do about the pic's I've never posted any as I'm not to swift on these computers. May be the weekend. by the way, anybody know when this thing might have been made? serial #69j6xx it's got the square butt.
