As far as getting a deal from pawnshops or anything else, I look at it this way; if there's a $100 bill on the ground, I'm picking it up. If I don't, some one else will. It's all part of the game.
Let's be real. We don't know the history of the majority of used stuff being sold online or in person, especially firearms. Were the firearms sold because of divorce, separation, need for fast money, etc.? Who knows. If I held myself to that hardship standard, I'd very seldom buy anything used.
But again, if there's $100 bill on the ground, I'm picking it up putting in my pocket, and I don't care what the story is.
I'd be willing to bet that 98% would pick it up, too. The 2% wouldn't admit it!
