I picked up a 360 several weeks ago. Out of the box, the trigger wouldn't reset and it bound up when the trigger/hammer got close to the SA mode; it looked like the hand was still trying to rotate the cylinder after it was locked in by the piece on the bottom of the cylinder window (cylinder bolt/stop?). Then just before it go to lock in SA, the hammer spur would hit the grip and bounce off. I had to send it back to S&W before I could even fire it! Yikes! Not a good start and my 3rd S&W that needed to go to the factory out of the box
But it came back fairly quickly and I ordered up some CT Green Laser grips and went to the range with it this past week. I am very impressed! I shot a bunch of 158gr 38's out of it and the recoil wasn't much more than my 442 with red CT grips and my 125gr 38 special reloads. I got brave and shot some 125gr Rem Golden Saber 357 magnums and some Win PDX1 125gr 357 magnums. These are mid level or reduced 357 magnum loads, but are supposed to be around 1100 FPS from the 2" barrel according to Lucky gunners tests. They were surprisingly controllable, even shooting 1 handed! I sighted in the laser for 3-5 feet in case I need to point shoot and put 7 out of the 10 shots into a hole around 1" in diameter at that distance shooting one handed. With the 357 mag loads, the rounds hit around 1" below point of aim at 10 yds and I was able to shoot a nice, tight group; 7 or 8 of the 10 shots I did were around 1.5" group shooting in DA. 38 +P Speer Gold Dot 135's were cake to control. Now I get to smoosh up a holster for it and my 442 is getting the red CT's replaced with the green!
The trigger is still a bit heavy, but I have only around 100 rds through it so far, looking to put more through it this weekend and next weekend. My 442 smoothed up and lightened nicely once it had a few hundred rds through it. I will try to get some pics the next time I go shooting.
