.38 Safety Hammerless

Researching this for a friend who got it from his elderly in-laws.
.38 S&W Safety Hammerless, serial# 253361.
Looks to be a 4 or 5-inch barrel.
Possibly a 5th Model?

SCSW 3d. Ed. puts that serial number range from 1907-1940; anybody got a closer date?

Shipped after 1922, but might be as late as the early 1930s. By the early part of the Twentieth Century, everyone was buying hand ejectors and it took the company over 15 years to get rid of the last 10,000 or so in inventory. It is a 5th Model.
