What is a fair price for once-fired 38 spl casings? Straight from the range, dirty, fired primers.

Thank you!

Just FYI Midway sells new starling brass for .22 -.28 cents a piece. Once fired should sell for less than that. Maybe .15 or less

Dirty range pick-ups, about 6 cents each. Cleaned and sorted about twice that. Why, how much are you wanting to sell?

I just looked at Republic, they want $17.50/250, cleaned and sorted. That's 7 cents each! So revise my estimates down about 2 cents!

Serger's Capitol Cartridge price is $70/1000, washed and polished. That's 7 cents each too, plus shipping.

I recently sold 43# for basically scrap brass price. There is really not a good reason to keep an inventory of anywhere close to that amount unless you are in the commercial reloading business. I now have an inventory of around 700 cases, and I really don't need half that many.
