.38 super revolver ammo

Use a pair of needle nosed pliers. Put one jaw in the middle and the rim against the other jaw, and gently squeeze until it snaps in place. This sounds bad when I try to say it on paper, but is a very easy way to load a moon clip, without causing any marks or damage.

According to your headstamp report, you're using Fiocchi ammo. Try some Winchester-Western .38 Super Auto +P. It may fit your clips a little better.

There are a number of different tools available for loading/unloading clips. I have 3 and find the one that looks like a screwdriver with a tube for a shaft to be the easiest for me. I'm always fumbling with the one that looks like a pair of pliers and the one that looks like bent metal is a PITA to use (IMHO).

well thanks guys. i've never really been around hand guns i've only had my shotguns and rifles never had to load a moonclip before but thats all it was didn't know you had to put that much pressure to load one. and thanks i will try winchester next time when i bought these bullets i think i bought them from walmart wasn't really paying attention i just seen 38 super. but they work
