Am on my second .380 Bodyguard. Have started having failures to fire due to light primer strikes after about 200 rounds just like the first one. Both guns were meticulously cleaned several times when the light strikes started, but to no avail.
I really like the gun's thinness and it's superior sights, and accuracy.
I had to take it out of the carry rotation and bought a Ruger LCPMax .380 to take it's place.
Is there anything that can be done to the Bodyguard to make it work again like it is supposed to? I am aware that the light firing pin strikes have plagued these guns from the git-go. I also know Apex makes a replacement spring and firing pin kit for these guns.
Has anyone here had this problem and fixed it with an Apex kit?
