I'd like to see a .380acp revolver a bit smaller and lighter then the J-Frame, not what Taurus came out with but something lighter then that and better quality from S&W, a true little pocket revolver in an adequate SD caliber for those who cannot handle the recoil of anything larger and/or the battery of arms of a semi-auto for whatever reason.

If they are going to consider a revolver in .380, it needs to have an extractor like in the old 547's so it doesn't require moon clips. Otherwise it would be a pain.

I would think that the market for such a gun would be somewhat limited and therefore might not be profitable enough to interest a company like S&W. It would be an interesting possibility for concealed carry in that size and the resulting sales might surprise the bean counters at S&W. As an alternative how about a .22 magnum like the North American mini revolver. Plenty of power in a small and well finished package.
