A friend has a 3913 that he would like to replace the spurless hammer with a a hammer that has a spur on it. This is not a dao pistol. Can someone tell me what model hammers will drop in?

A 5906 spurred hammer will work well for your conversion. You will need to swap the hammer stirrup if your new 5906 series hammer has one, as the 5906 hammer stirrup is too long.
I believe just about all of the spurred hammers from the second and third gen guns would work fine.
