Hi all, just found this forum today, and Im hooked on it. Here is my question, Last week i bought a S & W 3913, would now like to find out the year it was made. Serial Number TZ8......

Congrats on the 3913. It's a great carry weapon and very accurate & reliable.
Serial number should begin with 3 letters followed by numbers.

If you give S&W a call, they can answer that question quickly. Not to dismiss your ?, but they didn't mind answer it for me, and only took a quick phone call. Congrats on the 3913, one of the favorites CCW among S&W fans.

I have emailed them asking for date of manufacture on several handguns and they replied within a day or so.

After I put on my Bifocals, i read the serial number again, it is TZB...
I will write to S & W and ask for inon gun. Thanks for the info
