3913 Shopping

Jason977 If you want to switch to the single sided safety lever it's an easy swap as long as the initial removal is done in a clear freezer bag to keep from loosing the safeties detent & spring..
Numrich has the LS/NL lever available here..
SMITH & WESSON | 3913, 3913LS, 3913NL | ITEM#326840 | e-GunParts.com
It will also give you a chance to clean the carbon out of the firing pins channel while your in there with a Q-Tip & some gunscrubber or Hoppes#9..
I replaced my Firing pin return spring with a Wolff one which came in a kit I aquired when I removed mine..
Also you can just remove the right lever from the assembly & store it plus it's plunger & spring..
I've had a couple of folks here interested in my 3913NL so Much "They Both" went & bought other 3913s So I'm gonna get some pics together of the pistol & gear & post it in the classifieds..
I look farward to seeing pics of these "New Aquizitions" too Fellas.. :D
Enjoy!!

There have been a couple 3913s that I've been looking at in addition to Hk's. I was torn between the "original" and the NL, and decided that I liked the classic looks of the "original" better. Nearly the exact same setup for the same price. Potato/ potato :)

Thanks to the board for all the info. I'll post family pics when the new child comes in.

Sold my 3913, but I really like my CS9.

Style-wise the LS & NL models are nice IMO, but they all run great which is the most important thing. :)

I have two of the little buggers: One has an ambidextrous safety/de-cocker. My other 3913 is the Ladysmith with a single de-cocker.

I LOVE these guns!

I have a 3913 and 3914. I carry them, along with others, when at work. They are great guns and, IMHO if you get one, you probably won't want to ever get rid of it.

3913

I just bought one, I like it a lot. My smallest group so far was 1 5/8" at 7 yds with cheap remington FMJ. Works great with 39-2 magazines also. My wife loves it also, so watch out for that. I bought her the 39-2 a while ago but now she wants to trade up for this one. Quite possibly the perfect CC gun as-is, I think putting on a spur type hammer would be a poor choice.

Pardon my ignorance on this subject-but- just what is the difference from a generation 2 3913 and a generation 3 3913 ? Is one better than the other to own-is one more collectable -etc, etc.??
Thanks in advance for any wisdom that can be enlightened upon on this poor soul.

Here's my new baby. Picked it up on Sat and put about 100 rds through it on Sunday. I couldn't be happier, it handles and fires like a dream.
The Hogue grips feel great in my hand, but they make the grip as fat as a double stack 9mm. Since this is my EDC, I'll probably order a set of the standard thin delrin grips for more of a svelte profile. Any other recommendations for nice thin grips?

I bought this off a friend of a friend today for $400. Box, case, mags, papers + a nice holster and mag carrier!
If it is as accurate as the 3913 I stupidly sold, I will be very very happy.

You Got a "Super Deal" On That LadySmith 3913..
I had one just like it years ago & traded it for a HK P7M8..
Looks like my 3913NL is now being sold too, as being unemployed for 7-8 weeks now is taking a toll on the finances, Hopefully I'll be able to keep my house..
Joy Joy!!
Congrats on the sweet purchase Sod

3913 another view

Not trying to burst bubbles, but try the trigger before you buy one. I love the weight, but am sending mine to the performance center for an action job. My mint 3913 was off my 12 lb scale DA and these guys are complicated to work on the action. To compare, I obtained an excellent trigger on my 92 myself with lots of resources for online guidance.

Contact Ray online at Lobo gunleather for holsters. He made me an IWB and OWB for my Smith. He was very prompt and reasonable. Both holsters carry the pistol very comforably. The 3913 carrys well if you want a lightweight DA/SA gun. If you can forgo the hammer, compare it against a compact Glock.

Nice lightweight pistol, but if I get in a bad situation, I hope I am carrying my Beretta. The trigger work may raise my esteem. I hope so.
