Advice for 3913 trigger/hammer springs.

I received 3 springs from Wolff. 17,19 and 20 #. Anyone have any suggestions. as to the best change?

The standard mainspring (hammer) is 20#. If you're looking to lighten up the trigger pull I've used the 17# without issue. Mine's not for SD but if your's will be make sure you "proof test" it before. The lighter spring makes an unproportional change so don't expect it to feel 3# lighter.

Since the mainspring also helps resist the slide from recoiling backwards you might consider a recoil spring a few pounds heavier especially if you shoot full/+P loads frequently.
