I ordered a new grip for a recently acquired 4513TSW. I received it yesterday & installed it & realized I had ordered the wrong grip. The one I had ordered was for the later model seven round TSW, while mine is the earlier model six round TSW. I reordered the correct grip & decided that I would keep the incorrect one as it will fit my 4516-1. That got me thinking...
I've been trying to find six round magazines for my TSW with no luck. S&W has them, but at $41 bucks a piece. On my budget that's a little rich. The reason I don't use the seven round magazine is I don't like the way it looks hanging out the bottom of the mag well. It works fine. Silly, I know.
You can see the difference in the grips in the above pic. Just for kicks, I put the incorrect grip on the TSW & inserted a magazine. Here are the results:
A perfect solution? No. It still looks a little goofy, but to me better than the magazine hanging out all the way around. Do I have too much time on my hands? Most definitely!
