3rd gen family

Hands down some of the finest firearms ever produced. I am a little bit obsessed, according to some friends and the wife. Can't seem to get enough of the 3rd Gens. I'm up to about two dozen currently... And counting. Another great thing about them is they eat any ammo you feed them.

Also, that 1st Gen M59 is one of the original "wonder 9s" and is an absolute pleasure to shoot, isn't it? I have a few thousand rounds through mine with no issues whatsoever. Nice collection, my man!

I actually just got the 59 about 2 weeks ago, have only fired 1 mag thru it so far. The early 4006 I got in 1990 for graduation present/ class ring. Still have a few orginal boxes of winchester ammo with NEW on it.

Hey Grimace, I've looked at those tool carts and thought they'd make a good storage cabinet for guns.... how many can you fit in one of those?

In the current layout, i can fit 60 to 70 pistols using only the shallow top drawers of each toolbox. If I was trying to maximize the space, I'm sure i could get 80 to 90 depending on the frame sizes. Each box has 2 deep drawers on the bottom row that you could easily fit another 20 pistols each if using some sort of vertical stack system.

The boxes are Husky brand that I bought at HD around Christmas on sale. They were around $400 each if memory serves. Here's a couple of extra pics for reference.
