Rules don't allow posting the links but Classic Firearms is advertising S&W 5906 9mm's that were Puerto Rico Police trade-ins for under $270.

Nothing that I could use but thought I'd pass along the info if permissible - bound to be interest here for the internet-savvy. I've done some business with these folks and they are legit.

it seemed like a good deal, till i added sales tax, shipping and my home dealer charge for what is called only good nra condition from hot and humid p.r.. i passed...

I'm surprised there are still PR guns on the market. Sportsman's Warehouse got a bunch a year or so ago, and while many were rusted hulks there were some deals too.

I no longer deal with Classic Firearms. Their vacuuming up of email addresses in the name of proving you are over 18 is bovine excrement.

I got one of them. It was the fixed-sight version rather than adjustable-sight, and came with decaying Hogue grips and a Mec-Gar magazine rather than S&W (which was likely made by Mec-Gar anyway), but was otherwise in very good condition and had been cleaned before storage. I went from the LGS to the range for a quick session and it went through Blazer Brass, my handloads (using small rifle primers), and 124-grain +P HST with zero issues.

I've got a set of factory grips w/pin, a factory recoil spring, and another Mec-Gar magazine coming from Midway. I'll order a holster for it today.
