This is a picture I got off of the internet of a 4" 24-3 with a smooth target trigger. The revolver is LNIB. I recently purchased another one allegedly never fired with the same trigger. Most of them I've seen have the thinner serrated trigger.

I think they're probably original triggers.

Just wondered what the consensus is?

Sir, FWIW, I've also seen them with both. Maybe they ran out of the older serrated triggers halfway through the run or something.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

Every new in the box Model 24-3 4" I have ever seen came from the factory with the narrower service trigger and semi-target hammer. The 6.5" gun came standard with a full .500" Target Hammer and .400" grooved Target Trigger. I am sure some owners of the 4" guns later added full target hammers and triggers but I have never seen an original box for a 4" showing TT TH as factory installed.
