Picked up my Christmas present to myself yesterday 👍

27 ND that shipped May 6, 1960 according to the factory letter that accompanied the gun in the unmolested box which doesn't have an end label on it. No tools or paperwork.

This 8 3/8" is the 3rd 27 that joined the gang this year.
Doesn't appear to have been shot much and definitely didn't spend any time in a holster.

I need to find a 4" to complete the set which hopefully I'll track down next year.

Someone has changed out the trigger & stocks along the way…I might just leave well enough alone.

Everyone have a safe holiday season.

That is certainly a beauty. It is unusual to find a red ramp sight on an 8 3/8" 27, most had Patridge front sights. I've seen a couple of 6 1/2 inchers with red ramp front sights. Those are dandy diamond targets, too. I much prefer targets over the Magna stocks.

I have a couple

Looks great to me! Bluing is that nice deep rich blue.

I know you must have a set of special N targets put aside just for this gun!

I do have a couple sets without a gun…a set of Non Relieved diamonds and a set of "cokes".

Might have to try them on and see what they look like👍
