It's getting very close to my next birthday and they seem to roll around faster each year. This four screw 44 Magnum and I share the same birth month and year. It shipped from the factory 14 days before I was born in 1958. When I found this revolver I was just looking for a nice four screw 44 Magnum so it's shipping date was a bonus of sorts.

Do any of you have a "birthday gun" you would care to share and how close were you able to get? My guess is a few Forum members have hit the actual date.

I'm still waiting for a birthday gun to show up. I have a couple 38 M&P's that come close to 21 Apr, 48 but no cigar. I do like your 4" 4 screw 44 (that's a lot of 4's). I recently picked up one that was shipped Oct. 1957.

Here's my "birthday gun." It's 75 years old today, the day before I was born.

Mr. JRB, thats a beauty, and with the mint box. Post a close up of the grips, pls. Mike

Here are close up photos of the stocks. My apologies for the pictures, I'm just taking them from a tablet.

This is another not great photo of some of my other 44's. From left to right....

I don’t know about any of my S&Ws’, but I had a Blackhawk .357 and a Winchester Model 94, both from 1966….I was surprised a bit as it was coincidence as I don’t seek certain years…I sold both of those to one friend and miss the guns of course. Thought I’d downsize some as sometimes even a casual collection becomes a hassle because of maintenance and quantity accountability/usability…then sellers remorse lol… cheers and Happy Birthday!
