Non Model Marked 4 Screw 44 Magnum

The discussion about NMM 4 screw 357s caused me to pull this one from the safe. I also have a couple 6 1/2" 4 screw NMM 44 Mags but this 4" makes me smile when I hold it. Not so much when I shoot it. It's amazing how another 2 1/2" helps with muzzle flip.

That is a beauty!
My dad loved the short barrel magnums. He had one about like yours that I foolishly sold. Was able to replace it with this 5-screw.
I like shooting mine, although I have to admit it has some recoil. Have heard several people say they thought the 4-inch 44 Magnum is the best looking gun S&W produced. Think I might agree.
