4006 Mag Problems...

I made a purchase of 5 extra mags from CDNN. They came and 3 of them will not hold an 11th round. They will only hold 10. However there is a mark for an 11th round...

Why is this? Can I fix it? I did notice the ones that do hold 11 the "11" mark is just a hair lower down on the mag than the others that just hold 10.

were these brand new mags?

did you try holding the mag body in a tight fist and with your thumb holding pressure down the top round,

tap the bottom of the mag on a hard surface to set the dbl stack of rounds and

see if it will take the 11th round.

Have you pulled them apart and compared the springs and followers? There wasn't any real differance in the yellow or blue followers but the ten round 5900 springs were bunched up and tightly wound on each end so they couldn't compress as tight.
