After tons of research I finally decided on my dream Pistol. Then, I had to hunt one down. This was very hard to find (maybe it's just my luck) but it finaly came! If you have a 4006 post a picture!

Nice 4006 , the only change I made to mine was an arched grip. If you need mags Buds Gun Shop has a deal five for 30.00.

Yeah, I saw that ad for mags today. Mine came with 2 10 round clips. Does anyone know why the others are 11 rounds? Police Special Perhaps?

magazine capacity is limited in some states, like, uh-hem, NY. We are only aloud 10 round capacity magazines. 11 is probably the limit that will fit in a mag, in the well, with not a whole lot sticking out the bottom.

The 11 round magazines are "pre ban" magazines. There was a time when our legislation decided that we would be dangerous with magazines with more than 10 rounds. The "pre ban" magazines are plentiful if you prefer them. Personally I load my 11 round magazines with 10 normally. This is simply since they sit idle in the guns for long periods of time.

I purchased five of the magazines from Buds. Delivered last week. Two probably need some cleaning, one looks very, very lightly used and the other two look unused at all. Enjoy your 4006. I bought a 4006 TSW last year. They are great guns! Is yours a pre-rail model? Also, welcome to the forum. As a relatively new member myself, I think that you will find there is a wealth of knowledge here.

Thanks for the welcome. I have enjoyed my time here so far. Yeah, it took me a LONG TIME to find mine with the rail on it. I still can't seem to find any when I browse around on the web. I'm lucky I got it, and even more lucky to have gotten one with only 30 rounds through it!

I just picked up a 4003TSW. It does not have the rail under the barrel though. Is the rail something that was optional even for the tactical model? Can it be added?

I believe it was an extra option for the rail. I know that most of the Police depts don't have it on them (probably to save some $ and so it won't snag on anything), but I wanted it. It took me forever to find one.
