40c Mags?

Has anyone been able to find any mags for the compacts? S&W has no idea when they will be back in stock. I did see one at Gander Mountain near me but they wanted $98 for it!

Can't help with the mags, sorry. But I can't understand why anyone even shops at Gander anymore. Their sale prices are usually above MSRP. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, but gougers p+^&# me off.

same here, I usually don't shop there, stopped in for some ice fishing bait and decided to stop by the gun area...I shop at my LGS or employment supplier. I could not beleive the price for a mag there.

Isn't the standard 40c magazine size 10 rounds?

If you can locate some full-size magazines for the infringement states (10-round mags), buy them. The steel part of the 10-round magazines is the same. The only difference is the plastic butt plate.
Get the FS mags and simply swap the plastic plate out with the ones for the compact mag. They are available directly from Smith & Wesson.

I've used that trick a couple times for my 9c.
