41 mag No one can have just one!

I had two, and let them both get away back in the early 90's. Twenty years is a long time to stay mad at yourself.........but I still am!

...Now I hate to get it dirty carrying it.

That's a lot of iron to haul around, unless you mean out in the field - with a really sturdy belt!

I have had that problem many times over the years. Those guns always end up in the safe, with infrequent trips to the range in the safety of a gun rug. Kind of love 'em and hate 'em for that. :o

Congratulations on your new revolver. :)

I just picked up a 657-4 LN for $450. S/N CDL02XX.
Appears to have been shot once. Beautiful gun, not a scratch or mark on it. Rubber Hogue grips, 6" barrel. Did I get a fair deal? I think it was made around 2001 but I can't find the S/N in the book. Now to the range for testing.

What is that 58 on top of this posting, is one of the new ones?

I see its a 5 screw and has the new style stocks?

wheelgun...thats a "classic" 58..new with IL...the grips are rosewood custom....The 57 has Keith Brown "Coke" Target stocks

I.ve got two 41's a 657 and a 58, I reloaded some ammo this winter and tried the 657 out the bathroom window. Very impressive revolver. Still haven't shot the 58 but its in the range line-up. Love the shorty's.

You got it at wholsale! :D From its box end label I know another 657-4, serial CCWxxxx was boxed in 1998, so I don't think your's would be as new as 2001.

I had a well worn M58 back in the early 90's and traded it for something. It was a great shooter and recoil was a bit lighter than my 29-2 with 6.5" barrel. I wound up with much regret for having traded it. I never saw another until I found one a couple months ago in a LGS. It is in new condition with box, papers, tools and original purchase receipt from 1971. It was $600. Now, the only problem is shooting it since I don't have reloading setup for my RL550 and I don't know that I want to spend the $ for only one revolver...I guess I'll just have to find another .41!

And I thought I was the only one to keep muffs and a sand bag in the bathroom

Just bought up my first 57 off gb. $585 otd. I shot my friend's and fell in love with the caliber. I bought a set of hogue finger groove to replace the rubber pacs. Picking it up today, off to the range on the weekend.
