That charge is a smidge higher than the load data published in my Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. I seriously doubt it would hurt anything.

I won’t shoot it in my s&w my Redhawk will eat it I guess. Thanks. My book says 10.2gr but every book is different.

I think I’d be down to 8 grains, not over 9, no data in front of me. I like to keep things reasonable, especially for casually range use.

I see that load listed but it's max. Source listed as Oregon Trail. They also show 10.4 gr with a gas checked 215gr LSWC with the source listed as Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook (no edition given).

I think you're good.

I have one old manual that called for a 9.7 gr load of Unique with
that weight bullet but it had a copper jacket in the 41 Mag. data.

The quality of the revolver will tell the story or how sore you hand gets.

I've found 7 - 7.5 grains of Unique to be the sweet spot for my Ruger. Not a hot load , but accurate . Makes me happy when I can free hand hit empty shot shells at 25 yards repeatedly

Alliant's UNIQUE load for a 210gr GDHP is 9.7gr at 1,123fps...

Factory 210gr XTPs are at 1,545fps...

Per Hodgdons 7.1 gr of CFE-Pistol (their START load @ 17,500 CUP) is good for 1100+ fps with a 215gr LFP...

If the use of factory ammo is acceptable in a S&W in 41 Magnum I can't imagine that the OP's load is anything but medium, although that Lyman load's pressure seems to me to be way, WAY high for that low (1178fps) of a velocity: it is listed at over twice the pressure (38,700 CUP)!

Better safe than sorry, but...?

Using 215 gr LSWC anything over 8.8 left a lot of lead in the bore. 8 is the accuracy sweet spot for my 57.

I’ve had good luck with 7.5 and 7.8 gr unique and 210gr jsp rmr bullets. Out of a 6.5” 657.

Your 10 grain load will not cause a catastrophic failure in revolvers that are in good mechanical condition, but it is at or near MAX for that projectile

Like many others here on the Forum, I shoot my LSWCs a more toward the mid range side with 7 grains of Unique.

I only load jacketed and plated projectiles at the MAX end of the spectrum. This is just to reduce/eliminate leading with the cast projectile.

As long as your LSWCs are hard enough and sized properly there should be nothing stopping you from running at full power

I'm all in for 8.0 grains of Unique with a 210 grain lead SWC (RCBS mould or commercial). It's pleasant enough and mimics our old issue ammo for the 41. I've loaded up to 9.0 grains with no issues in either a S&W 57 or 58.
