Model 41 Unusual Serial Numbers

I once owned Model 41 with serial number 41002. Very accurate pistol. The fellow I bought it from tried to convince me that it was the second such pistol made. (Even then, I knew better than that!)

My oldest was bought new around 1962. Never thought of it before but the ser # has a '41', 41675. I do remember the price was $110.
