Since we don't have Elmer Keith, Bill Jordan etc. To push the boundaries anymore. What about the 41 special?

A small revolver than a N Frame but more power than a 38 special
But a tad less power than a 44 special but more speed. A nice 165gr JHP. Would do nicely. Maybe a five shot revolver for a leg holster?

S&w R U listening?

Remington golden sabre or Winchester silver tip ammo?

Home protection, let's call it "after the dog" protection. Model ATD.

CRIME FIGHTER 41 special.L

Good idea, but why not do the 5 shooter with the 40 caliber that is already being produced. Maybe have an extraction system like Ruger did to eliminate moon clips.
That was Ruger that had those spring looking flat metal extractors,(9mm revolver) wasn't it?

44 special with 185 grn will fit that bill. Wish they would come out with something comparable size wise to a charter arms bulldog, which I carry often, but with S&W quality.

I with Ladder13! I have accumulated a beater M 686/4", a beater 6" SS barrel (to be cut to 3"), a supply of the really rare 41 special brass, the chamber reamer and I can use 41 mag reloading dies. So I have everything but the cylinder blank that I want to use. It is a project waiting for the right rainy day. :-)

I could go for a K/L frame 5 shooter in 41 Special! I have a Model 57 that I run almost exclusively a light load through. However, I push a 215gr hardcast lead SWC over about 5-6gr of 231 in a Magnum case. It shoots real nice!

I could really be interested in something like a 41 special in a 5 shot airweight frame K or L size. Make it a 2 inch barrel and small enough for CC. I would be all over it.

Maybe a 2 1/2" to 3" barrel, 41 special, 5 shot, L frame revolver with lazer sight in the grips. Call it the "CRIME FIGHTER .41" in polished stainless?

its still manly enough for a guy to own, but mild enough for any woman to ccw carry.
