On 12/31 I posted a problem w/my cylinder sticking after 25 - 30 rounds down range. A friend at my LGS looked it over and found the cylinder was rubbing the forcing cone. After a few rounds things got hot and shut the gun down. He took some very fine sand paper and worked on the forcing cone and now all is well. He ran 160 +/- rounds through w/o a problem and I'll be picking up the gun later this week. Thanks to all that weighed in & a special thanks to my friend Mike who's on this Forum.

I once had a Model 317 that I let go and later regretted it. One thing I've learned is these little .22s are not made for prolonged range sessions, they get dirty fast. My Model 18 is better suited for that. As long as the 43C runs for 25 +/- rounds, like in a self defense situation, I'll be satisfied.

Anyways, it has never malfunctioned one time, that day or any other day. I didn't even have trouble ejecting the spent casings.

Glad you resolved the issue. Like 307-Niner I have had no issues with my 43C.
