By the way, what revolver did you decide to match to your carbine?
You will likely want to size to .427, although if a .428 bullet chambers in both your carbine and revolver it may provide a little, very little, better accuracy.
If one crimps a little loosely, the bullets will drop down into the cases when stacked in a rifle magazine tube. Crimp too tight and the things will not chamber. I use RCBS 44 WCF Cowboy dies and have had good luck.
