44 HBWC

Just poured up a batch of 44 HBWCs in Mil Tec mold. Bullets came out perfect, nice definition on all edges. This mold came with extra set of core pins to pour as a solid WC. Top punch was included with mold. Going to load 50 each 44sp and 44mg. Bullet is 214gr in HBWC mode. Hitting the manuals to come up with a loading.
Might load a dozen backwards for varmits.

Very nice. You don't often see that design for 44 caliber revolvers. What was your alloy?

50:50 lead : wheel weights and 20:1 this alloy : tin.

That ought to work well for target shooting and small game shooting.
