44 mag Loads? Help?

I only use 2400 for the full house loads. Reduced loads with 2400 or similar slower powders will result in incomplete combustion and excessive fouling. Speer loading manual actually list 7.7 grs of Unique as a great all around general purpose plinking load. I just rounded it up to 8 grs under a Magnus cast 240 swc. Great shooter with nil recoil out of my Redhawk.Mike

In searching for a mid range Magnum load for my 29, I did a bit of reading, including Handloader, and stumbled across some loads by Brian Pierce. Following his data, I settled on a load of 9.2 grains of Unique behind a 240 grain SWC.
