I recently traded into a double handful of once-fired REM-UMC .44 Russian brass. About 20 of these were SOLID-HEAD, with the shallow relief groove just ahead of the rim. Up to now, the only style of .44S&WR brass I'd ever seen, whether USCCo., UMC, WRACo., or REM-UMC, has been balloon-headed. If anyone out there has any ammo (or brass) like this that isn't too spiffy (or corroded) to shoot up, I'd be interested in acquiring about 50 - 100 rds., whether boxed or not. I have plenty of Starline & Top Brass to feed my guns, but I'd like to be able to construct a box or two of the originals.
If this should be in the WTB column, please feel free to move it.
Thanks in advance,
Larry
